At the beginning of El Palmar, which has retained its rural character, lies Villa Parra in the middle of a settlement of small houses and holiday accommodation. Parra is the Spanish word for vine and indicates that the owner of Villa Parra is a lover of good wine. But that's not all. During the complete renovation in 2009, together with an interior designer, he lovingly selected the many small details. This and the absolute top location on one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches far and wide make Villa Parra a real paradise for up to 4 people.
Since August 2020, Villa Parra has also had a small but nice pool, which is located in the garden of the house.

Indoor
The successful combination of materials, colors and accessories makes Villa Parra a cozy home. All rooms adjoin the cosy, open-plan living and dining area - a light and airy space with sea views that serves as the communicative focal point of the home. Here you not only like to sit down to eat, but also to read through the collected tips and information in our personal travel guide. On cooler days you can relax on the cozy sofa in front of the crackling open fire and watch TV. Cooking with regional products is a lot of fun in the small but fully equipped designer kitchen, which is decorated in Nile green tones and offers a view of the front garden and the sea.
The two bedrooms - like the separate study - were named and tastefully designed based on the different wines of the region. The Tinto master bedroom is decorated in burgundy tones, while shades of gold and light green have been chosen for the smaller Blanco bedroom. The bathroom has been decorated with light stone effect tiles that contrast with the chrome accessories. It has a bathtub with integrated shower, a hand basin and a toilet.
Another room with internet connection can be used as an office.
Outdoor
The beach in front of the door - this wish comes true here. Just a few steps and you are already between dunes and reeds that will take you to El Palmar beach. When you return to the small garden, you can use the garden shower to rinse the salt and sand off your skin and refresh yourself at the same time. Since 2020 our villa has had a small but nice pool. In front of the house there is a covered dining area, a BBQ and a shady pergola with an inviting sofa entwined with vines.
This is the perfect place to take a siesta on a hot afternoon. Part of the terrace is enclosed by folding glass doors that offer shelter on windy days. A spiral staircase leads to the roof terrace where you can sunbathe and enjoy the wonderful sunsets over the Atlantic.
Vincinity
El Palmar is part of Vejer de la Frontera, one of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia. Playa El Palmar is a largely untouched piece of nature - infinitely long and lined with dunes.
It stretches between Conil and Barbate and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa de la Luz and among surfers as the best beach break in Andalusia, with its fine golden sand, the clean waters of the Atlantic and its excellent breaking waves.
The crystal-clear water of the Atlantic and its beautiful color, which is particularly due to the good water quality, make it special. When the weather is nice, you can walk a good 70m into the Atlantic without it getting particularly deep. This is a special feature, especially for families with children.
On the small street in front of Villa Parra, which runs along the beach, there are many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the wines of Andalusia - the second largest wine region in Spain with one of the most famous wines, sherry. We recommend tapas, salads, soups, meat dishes, freshly caught fish and crustaceans as well as delicious desserts and cakes.
By the way: When the weather is nice, you should definitely enjoy the sunset in one of the many beach bars with a "sundowner".
El Palmar offers you everything you need for your daily needs, for larger purchases we recommend the larger supermarkets in the white town of Conil, which is only 5 km away and belongs to the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos, the route of the white villages.

In addition to restaurants, there are also numerous surf schools offering lessons for all ages on Playa El Palmar.
Info: El Palmar is equipped with a small but well-stocked supermarket directly on the beach, also a pharmacy and a small butcher shop are provided for the holidaymakers.
There are numerous restaurants, some of which we also present in our recommendations.
Small beach cafes offer the typical Andalusian breakfast early in the morning, are open all day and often have small tapas for the day and coffee / cake ready.
